The Struggle of a City-Bred Couple in Their 30s to Live in the Country

We are a 30-something, city-bred, Osaka-based couple, expecting our daughter in 2020, making us a family of three.

We have always longed to live in the countryside, but when my wife became pregnant and the new corona virus came out, we started seriously looking for a countryside property and in July 2020 we started living in the countryside, living in two locations, back to back with the city. In fact, because of the corona, my company has been closed, so I have been living in the countryside for more than half of the month.

The location is deep in the mountains of Uda City, Nara Prefecture. Although it is not a single house with a potsherd, it is at a good distance from the neighboring land and has a private feeling.

In this channel, I would like to transmit the scenery, views, and life in the countryside.
