We grow rice in a flat area of Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, about 2 towns.
Originally, the family business was strawberry ・ tomato ・ rice farming, and I was forced to help with the farming from a young age, which I did not like, but since my father passed away, I have been working hard only on rice farming as a dual-use farmer through trial and error. I will retire at the end of March 2021 and have one more day off per week, so I can continue to work and have a little extra time to grow rice.
I used to keep a yearly farming schedule in Excel as a diary, but I decided to start YouTube to keep it as a video instead of a diary.

November ～ December ： First plowing by tractor （ Roughing ） ・ Spraying "lime nitrogen" to rot straw
February March ： Second plowing with tractor
March ： Spraying herbicides around the banks and mowing （ March ～ About 5 times a year until September ）
April ： Seedbed （ Making beds for seedlings ～ Seed disinfection ～ Sowing ～ Seedling boxes installed ） ・ Sidewalk painting of each field ・ Third plowing with tractor
May ： Prepare drainage areas for each field ・ Fourth plowing
Late May ： To each field Watering, tractor （ Harrowing ） Plowing with halo ～ Installing mulch
June ： Planting ～ Throwing herbicide ～ Water management
July ： Drainage ～ Ditch cutting ～ Drying for the soil ～ Watering ・ Water management
August ： Watering ～ Spraying ear fertilizer ・ Water management
September ： Weeding and mowing ・ Water management
October ： Rice harvesting ～ Drying and preparation Bringing in brown rice ～ Finishing rice production ！ ！
